The Poet Library

The Poetry Library is a unique resource – the largest collection of modern and contemporary poetry in the UK and home to a treasure trove of children’s poetry books. Scottish Book Trust is the leading agency for the promotion of literature, reading and writing, in Scotland. Check out their Children and Young People section. Their list of links is a treasure trove, too!

The Federation of Children’s Book Groups

An umbrella organisation for the local autonomous Children’s Book Groups around the U.K. The Groups organise a variety of book-related activities for children in their localities.

Also, the Federation organises National Share-a-Story Month each year in May, holds an Annual Conference in the Spring, and owns and coordinates the Red House Children’s Book Award.
